Every year each covenant group is asked to perform some type of service project in order to put their faith into practice and express their values in the community. These projects can be for the benefit of the church or the greater community.
By this means, the groups use their energy to make the world a better place.
- Entertaining children once a month at a homeless shelter while their parents are in “Get Out of Poverty” classes.
- Supporting the two church-sponsored low-income Fairview families with monthly supplies of food, paper goods and cleaning supplies.
- Organizing and expanding the church library.
- Conducting a book sale at the church auction.
- Painting an interior room of the church.
- Supporting an underprivileged family for the holidays.
- Entertaining sick children at the hospital.
- Providing two quick meals a month to the church-sponsored Fairview families.
- Supporting the two church-sponsored low-income Fairview families with monthly supplies of food and/or paper goods and cleaning supplies.
