Social Justice Focus for the Year 2012-2013
Domestic Violence and Abuse
As in the past two years, when we focused on immigration and homelessness, our Social Justice Committee will provide a series of activities and events this year focused on the issue of domestic violence and abuse. This issue happens to be the leading crime in Fairfax County so it is all too common in our neighborhood. We want to raise awareness and educate ourselves on the signs, symptoms, causes, solutions, and available resources to address the problem. Below are the events that are planned for this program. Stay tuned for details as each event approaches and join us in learning more.
